Electronic music is ever-expanding as artists continuously push the boundaries… So what happens when new-age electronic meets country? How about when that track gets heavier with some bass in an electro remix?
If any artist is up to the task, it’s Pretty Lights. Back in October, Pretty Lights released a collaboration with country stars LeAnn Rhymes and Ralph Standley, “Wayfarying Stranger.” The track epitomizes Pretty Lights in both sound and creativity. The chill vibe is a personal favorite of mine, but in a newly released electro remix, Pretty Lights shows yet another weapon in his arsenal. Revamping the collaboration with some heavy bass adds a completely new perspective. The electro remix features a crazy build and drop at the 1:45 mark. Listen to both tracks. Compare and contrast.
